Portable Pumps

We carry 2 of this style portable pumps in our Squad, these are used for clearing large quantities of water out from something like a flooded basement. These pumps are capable of handling 150 gpm (shown) and 350 gpm respectively.

We provide this as a service to our community in times of heavy rain and flooding.

Submersible Pumps

We carry 3 of this style portable pumps in our Squad, these are used for clearing smaller quantities of water out from something like a flooded basement. This pumps are capable of handling 150 gpm (shown) and the other 2 can handle 50 gpm.

Absorbent

At the scene of a car crash often times there are fluids which become spilled on the road. Some of these fluids including anti-freeze and oil are quite slick and with out being cleaned up can cause additional accidents. Because of this we carry absorbent materials which can be used to help clean up these fluids in a safe way.

We carry enough absorbent on our Engine to handle most incidents and carry additional absorbent on our Squad in the event more being needed.

Cardiac Science - Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Thanks to a grant received by our brothers at the Fairview VFD (250) for use throughout Ross Township by FEMA we have received 2 new AEDs.

With Fire Departments often responding along side EMS services and Cardiac Arrest being the #1 cause of Firefighter Line of Duty Death carrying one of these devices on each of our vehicles allows us to better serve the community as well as protect our own firefighters.
