Stations 252, 249, 250 were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Bellevue Road. Assistant Chief 252 (M. E. Ford) Arrived on the scene to find a working structure fire.

 

252 Engine arrived first on the scene and attacked the fire with an 1 ¾. Crews worked to bring the fire under control, while EMS transported 1 patient to the Hospital for Observation. During the fire Stations 297-10 and 108 were also requested for man power.

July 1

 

After midnight Stations 246, 253 and 251 RIT were alerted for a Commercial Structure Fire on Babcock Bvld. Police Arrived on the scene shortly there after to find heavy smoke from all four sides of the building. A short time later 251 Chief (Gross) and 510 FM-1 (Reubi) arrived on scene and confirmed a working structure fire. Moments later 246 Chief (Giger) arrived on the scene and established command. 251 Chief requested 239 RIT for a second RIT. Shortly there after a second alarm was pulled bring 259, 247, 252, T191 and 250 Air.

 

252 Engine Responded with 6 and assisted with the Defensive Attack on the fire and overhaul was after the fire had been knocked down.

May 7

 

Shortly before midnight Stations 249, 252, 297 - 20 and 30, and 220 RIT were alerted for a Structure Fire on Union Ave. As soon as the location was transmitted 249 Deputy Chief (Willett) requested 103 Mini and alerted all units this would be a defensive fire.

 

249 Chief (Glinski) arrived on the scene and established command. 252 Engine Responded with 7 and assisted in making with the initial Defensive Attack on the fire and continued with overhaul after the fire had been knocked down.

 

All personnel left the fire muddy and tired from a hard nights work.
